About Us
IMG Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors (IMG) was set up to service the business needs for individuals and businesses primarily within London and the South of England, however due to our contacts and work ethics we also work with clients nationwide.
We do not operate from expensive offices but instead visit you at your premises and make best use of electronic means. As IMG does not therefore have expensive overheads, this saving is passed on to our client’s via our modest fees.
Our mandate is to provide a quality and efficient service to our clients with the emphasis being on service and delivery. We aim to ensure the least amount of disruption to your business whilst undertaking the required engagements.
IMG was set up by Ian Goad, a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience gained within private practice. During this time Ian has gained the knowledge and experience to offer any business and/or individual the level of service to fit the individual needs.
The firm and its principal are members of and regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales (ICAEW). In addition, Ian is also a member of the ICAEW Tax Facility.
We are here to be offer as much or as little as required with fixed quotes available to move away from the ‘ticking clock’ mentality.

IMG recognises that business owners know a great deal about the business environment in which they operate, we look to use this knowledge and compliment it with our services.
We are here to help you in your business and guide you in areas that may be unfamiliar. By working together we aim to give you a better understanding of your figures and liabilities in addition to discussing your current figures to enable potential planning.
A successful business is one that knows where it has come from, where it is now and where it is looking to be. IMG work closely with business owners and/or managers to enable them to capitalise on current and future opportunities that may arise in addition to running the business efficiently and effectively.
IMG for Individuals
Most individual clients are looking for an efficient service in relation to the preparation of personal income tax returns and tax computations.
Not only do we look to turn around such compliance work in the minimum of time but we also look to explain the figures to our clients to ensure they know exactly how the tax liability has been arrived at.
In addition to the above, we at IMG are experienced in looking at existing measures in place, or lack of them, to minimise the individual’s exposure to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, where available.
